The Syli blouse is a relaxed everyday garment with a loose fit. This simple sewing pattern features a gathered bodice, a shallow tuck across the chest, and a hip-length hemline that dips slightly longer in back. The neckline is finished with binding with a back vent secured by ties. The sleeves are ½-length.

Fabric recommendations
Choose a light to medium-weight, non-stretch fabric. Depending on the desired result, you can select either a low-drape fabric or a fabric with a little drape. Cotton, linen, Tencel and rayon shirtings or dress-weight fabrics are recommended.
You can cut the binding from your fabric or choose a premade binding. If your fabric is light or drapey, interface the pocket openings of the dress using fusible interfacing.
