Tuuli V-neck jersey dress & bodysuit

Choose a light to medium weight jersey, with approximately 50% stretch. For the bodysuit, make sure to pick something firm with a good recovery and preferably with some elastan or lycra. We suggest selecting a soft and comfy cotton jersey for the crotch facing. For the dress, pick a fabric that has a little drape, but isn’t very weighty; the skirt has plenty of volume and could lose its shape if made in a very heavy fabric. If you want, you can use a heavier knit fabric for the dress bodice and sleeves, and a lighter jersey for the skirt. The dress sample is made of a drapey rayon jersey; the bodysuit was sewn up in a polyester-blend jersey.

• Dress: 5 - 7 mm (1/4”) elastic, your waist measurement (optional)
• Bodysuit: 3 cm (1 1/8”) knit bias tape, 170 cm (1 7/8 yd)
• Bodysuit: Snap button tape, 6 cm (2 3/8”) OR 2 cm (3/4”) ribbon, 12 cm (5”); and 3 - 4 prong snap buttons
