Anni building block pattern - The wrap bodice add-on

Anni is a sewing pattern bundle that consists of a steady bodice, and interchangeable bottom, sleeve, and neckline ‘blocks’ that you can mix and match to create an entirely unique dress, jumpsuit, or playsuit! This elegant V-neck has a wrap dress-inspired, overlapping front. There is an invisible zip closure at the back, but if you want to make a dress with a wrap closure, check out The wrap skirt add-on.
The wrap bodice add-on block includes only the front bodice pieces. In order to make the garment, you will also need Anni building block pattern – The base. You can combine the wrap bodice with any bottom block, and make it sleeveless or with the short sleeve or the long bell sleeve. The sample jumpsuit was made sleeveless and with the trouser bottom, shortened into culotte-length. The dress sample was sewn using the wrap skirt bottom and long bell sleeve.

Fabric recommendations
You can use either a drapey or firm non-stretch fabric for the wrap bodice. Choose your fabric according to the other blocks you plan to use. The jumpsuit sample is made of a fairly lightweight and soft twill, and the dress is made of light weight rayon challis.
Materials
Calculate the total fabric consumption of your garment by summing up the fabric consumption of the bodice/sleeve block and the bottom block.
