Anni building block pattern - The wrap skirt add-on

Anni is a sewing pattern bundle that consists of a steady bodice, and interchangeable bottom, sleeve, and neckline ‘blocks’ that you can mix and match to create an entirely unique dress, jumpsuit, or playsuit! This knee-length, wrap dress-inspired semi-circle skirt is open at the front with overlapping front skirt pieces. There is an invisible zip closure at the back, but if you want to make the dress with a wrap closure, check out The wrap bodice add-on.
The wrap skirt add-on block includes only the skirt pattern pieces. In order to make the dress, you will also need Anni building block pattern – The base. You can combine this wrap skirt block with any neckline and sleeve blocks from the base pattern. The sample is made with a scoop neck and short sleeves.

Fabric recommendations
Choose a medium or light weight fabric with a nice drape. The sample is made of luxurious cupro satin.
Materials
Calculate the total fabric consumption of your garment by summing up the fabric consumption of the bodice/sleeve block and the bottom block.
- 1 cm (3/8”) tape interfacing, 20 cm (8”)
- Light fabrics: 1 cm (3/8”) tape interfacing, 150 cm (1 3/4 yd)
- Check the interfacing and other material requirements (zipper, hook and eye etc.) from the other blocks respectively
