Rescue textile® sample swatch

Includes a 7 x 7 cm (2 3/4 x 2 3/4") pre-washed sample swatch for each of our three Rescue textiles®: The pink Pioni, green Pinja and yellow Hilla.

Pioni and Pinja are plaid cotton blend seersuckers containing 60% cotton and 40% polyester. They have a lovely, crisp texture. These medium-weight, low-drape fabrics are ideal for shirts, blouses, and dresses. 

Hilla is a gorgeous sunflower yellow viscose blend crepe fabric with a lovely drape and a beautiful texture. The exact composition of this fabric is not known, but its properties are similar to a viscose-polyester blend. This light and drapey fabric is ideal for airy tops, blouses, dresses and skirts.

A Rescue textile® is one of the most ecological fabric choices in the market. It is textile industry’s surplus, in other words: waste. Rescue fabric is a resource-wise and sustainable choice, since it is clean and unused material that might have otherwise ended up being burned. It is un-processed and therefore more energy efficient than recycled fibers.

Due to their rescue origin, these fabrics are only available as a limited stock.
